These terms apply to anyone requesting a fridge or freezer collection through Remove My Fridge ("homeowners"), and to anyone registering as a collector on the platform ("collectors"). Remove My Fridge is operated by CPS Deus Ltd.
Remove My Fridge is a matching platform that connects homeowners with independent, licensed local collectors. We are not the collector, do not employ collectors, and are not a party to the collection itself. The collector is responsible for the collection, pricing, and legal disposal of your item(s).
Submitting a request does not commit you to a booking. The final price is confirmed directly by the collector based on your appliance and any additional items, before collection is arranged. Payment for the collection itself is arranged directly with the collector unless otherwise stated.
To register, you must hold a valid Environment Agency Waste Carrier licence and have a genuine arrangement to route fridges and freezers to an Approved Authorised Treatment Facility (AATF) for degassing. You self-certify this at registration and are responsible for keeping your licensing current. Subscription plans (Standard and Unlimited) are billed monthly via Stripe following your first free month; you may cancel at any time. Lead limits for the Standard plan reset monthly from your signup date. You are responsible for completing an accurate Waste Transfer Note for every job and for lawful disposal of everything you collect.
Collector subscription payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Homeowner-facing collection prices are set and collected by the individual collector, not by Remove My Fridge, unless we state otherwise for a specific service.
You must not provide false information (including false licensing or identity details), use the platform for anything unlawful, or attempt to circumvent the matching or payment systems.
We provide the matching service only. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, pricing, or service quality of independent collectors. Any dispute about a collection itself is between the homeowner and the collector. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
You may stop using the platform or close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, including expired or misrepresented licensing.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
