Remove My Fridge (removemyfridge.co.uk) is part of the Scrap4Free family, operated by CPS Deus Ltd, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
If you request a collection: your name, address and postcode, phone number and/or email, and any photo you choose to upload of the item(s) being collected.
If you register as a collector: your company name, business address, email and phone number, EA Waste Carrier licence number, an uploaded ID document (such as a driving licence), and account login details.
To match homeowners with a licensed local collector and let that collector contact you to arrange collection; to generate the Waste Transfer Note required by waste regulations for each job; to verify collectors meet the licensing requirements needed to join the platform; and to process collector subscription payments.
When a job is matched, the collector's contact details are shared with the homeowner and vice versa, since collection has to be arranged directly between you. Collector payments are processed by Stripe. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
ID documents uploaded at collector registration are stored in a restricted location that is not publicly accessible, and are only viewed by authorised staff for the purpose of verifying licensing compliance.
Waste Transfer Note records are retained for as long as required by applicable waste-transfer record-keeping regulations. Other account data is retained for as long as your account is active, or as needed to resolve disputes or meet legal obligations.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to how it's used. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
This site uses only the essential cookies needed for it to function (for example, keeping a collector logged in). We do not currently use tracking or advertising cookies.
